9 months!

Once again, I am way late at getting to this 9 month post. I"m just not cut out for this blogging madness...but I do want to document Aiden's developments on a monthly basis, so you can be rest assured I will do at least that much! :)

9 month's seems like forever! But, at the same time, it seems to have gone by so fast. You are at such a fun age right now, little man! You are looking and acting less like a baby and more like a toddler. And boy are you mobile! You are all over the place!....which is fun, but also exhasuting :)

Here is a 9 month recap:

-You weigh 20 lbs, 6 oz (48 %)
-You are 29.75 inches long (91 %)
-You have a big head (90%)
-Wear size 3 diapers and 9 month and 12 month clothes...and a few 18 month.
-You still take Prevacid once a day for your reflux as well as a daily probiotic for your digestive craziness. You LOVE to take your prevacid...it might as well be candy to you. You get SO excited when you see me coming with it. It's so funny!
-You still have blocked tear ducts...boo!! You pretty much have a constant eye infection that we give you drops for. You have an appt scheduled with a pediatric opthamologist on Feb 2nd to be assessed to have them probed open..hooray! You will be so much happier when this is taken care of!
-You are super mobile....but still primarily using the army crawl method to get around. You have been all 4's crawling a little bit more, but I would say its still 60/40 army crawl.
-You are a pulling up machine. Its amazing how good you have gotten and how much stronger you have gotten in such a short time. You are into everything! The word, "No" is being used a whole lot more now!
-You favorite attractors are still cords, surround sound speakers, the DVD player, and nightlights. We have pillow barricades all over the house :)
-You say "Mama" pretty well, but thats the only word I have made out. We call your Daddy "Papa", and I think thats a much harder word to say than "Dada"...thats our fault for making things more complicated.
-You follow simple directions well, such as "Where is your ball", "Go get your ball", "Come here", "No" (well, maybe you dont follow that one so well).
-If we say, "Where is Mama/Papa/Ball/Water/Milk"...you immediatly stop and look for those things, and then smile when you see them.
-You are doing much better drinking out of a sippy cup. You still need a lot of work, but at least your are sucking instead of just chewing on it. You will hold it, but you wont tip the cup and then you just end up sucking air, so I still have to help. You practice drinking twice a day, with lunch and dinner.
-You are up to eating twice a day (lunch/dinner). Still baby food. We had stoppped food for awhile due to constipation issues, but we started up again. To deal with the bowel issues, you now get 1 oz prune juice mixed with 1 oz water every night with your nighttime bottle. It seems to be helping, as things have been a little more regular.
-You hate peaches and peas. I gave you peas, and you immediatly started gagging and then proceeded to throw them up. No joke. What a stinker.
-You love sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, pears, raspberries, prunes.
-Your sleeping has been great this past month! 12 hours at night and a 1.5 hour morning nap and a 2-3 hour afternoon nap.
-You're a mama's boy....or at least thats what your Papa tells me :)
-You are becoming more and more intrested in books! You will actually sit still long enough to let me read them to you. You LOVE touch and feel books!
-You love to play Peek a Boo, to be chased, and to play with your balls.
-You like being out and about, but if it is close to nap time or bed time, WATCH OUT!
-You still only  have 2 teeth, but those top ones have got to be right around the corner. I feel like you have been working on them for months!
- You do great in the church nursery for class, and I have just started putting you in there for service as well (usually once the preacher starts I drop you off, you love the singing in church).
-You are getting more hair! Finally! And it is as blond as can be!

You are such a joy to us, little man! We love you so much and cant wait to see what the next month brings!
