7 months!

The months just keep on flying by! Our little stinkerpuss is 7 months old! His personality is really starting to shine, and he is busy, busy, busy! Here are the highlights:

-Height and weight unknown, but I know you are at least 20 lbs and likely somewhere around 28 inches, maybe longer seeing as how many of your 9 month pants are getting too short on you.
-Wearing size 3 diapers day and night.
-Wears mostly 6-9 month, 9 month, and a few 12 month clothes. You are so long!
-I bought you a SIZE 5 shoe this month. No joke. The chart said that size 5's are usually for 1-1.5 year olds. Definitly taking after your Daddy's side of the family here!
-You have 1 tooth! (bottom right)...and the bottom left should be here anyday. Your first tooth came in the last week of your 6th month. I thought they were going to both break through at once, I could see them both right at the gum line. Then one day the right one broke through and the left one is still sitting there waiting.
-Eating solids better and better. You actually open your mouth now instead of me having to shove it into your mouth. You have had squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, and just started prunes. You are only eating solids once a day right now, usually for dinner.
-Still a great night sleeper. 11-12 hours, usually 730/8 - 730.
-You nap pretty well, most of the time. You take 2 naps a day: Go down at 900 and sleep until 11 (sometimes 1130), and then you go down at 2 and sleep until 5 (or 530). You get yourself to sleep for naps by crying a little and then sucking on your fingers. Teething caused a lot of restless napping and frequent waking up.
-You are done with a pacifier, not that you ever took a liking to one much anyways. You would only use it for naps and at bedtime, but towards the end of this month you decided you wanted nothing to do with it. You prefer to cry yourself to sleep and then sucking on your 2-3 middle fingers to soothe you.
-You still get rocked to sleep at night....I could just lay you down and you would go to sleep on your own, but you are so sweet at night and I just love rocking you and watching you drift off to sleep in my arms.
-You had your first fever and virus this month..booo! You pretty much slept all but 3 hours the 1.5 days you were running a fever. It was so sad.
-Mobility is just around the corner! You want to crawl so bad! You get up on all 4s and rock and rock, but you just can't coordinate the whole crawl thing. You have started to become more proficient at army crawling, you alternate between this and rolling to get yourself around.
-You transition from sitting to your belly, and are almost at the point of transitioning from your belly to sitting. You get about halfway there and then give up.
-You love to take walks and swing in the neighborhood park.
-You do NOT like wind. If we are on a walk and the wind starts to blow, you immediatly start screaming and we have to turn your stroller backwards and finish the walk :)
-You still have a love/hate relationship with your jumper. Some days you will play in it for 45 min, and other days you are done after 5.
-You rarely spit up! Hooray!
-You transitioned to your big boy carseat, and you love it! You let us know you were done with your infant carrier by screaming every time we put you in it. Now you like to sit like a big boy and get a better view of the outside.
-You spent your first overnight without Mom and Dad, and you did great (except for staying up 2 hours past your bedtime because you were refusing to go to sleep for them). Our friends Bryan and Megan came to stay with you while me and your Dad spent the night downtown.
-You love when people sing to you, you have especially taken a liking to "This Little Light of Mine".
-Struggle during church because you get so tired and fussy.
-You still take daily Prevacid for your reflux and still drink special Neocate formula for your milk allergy.
-You are SO busy and inquisitive. You are at that point where you reach/lunge for everything. You are also really into touching peoples faces.
